Cancellation policy

  • At San Diego Climbing School, we understand that plans can change and unexpected situations may arise. Our goal is to provide flexibility to our clients while also ensuring fairness to our guides and maintaining the sustainability of our business. To help manage scheduling changes effectively, we have established a clear cancellation policy that balances our commitment to our clients with the operational needs of our team.

We highly recommend trip insurance to protect your investment and ensure peace of mind in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Please review our cancellation policy below, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

  • SDCS Initiated Cancellations

In the unlikely event of weather outside of San Diego Climbing School’s risk management standards, unexpected closures, operational constraints, and other unforeseen reasons, SDCS may cancel a program. While San Diego is known for its sunshine, our Guides are prepared to operate during rainy, hot and somewhat unpleasant weather conditions. SDCS will work closely with clients to ensure that they are receiving the highest quality of instruction, despite the potentially uncomfortable weather conditions. In the very rare circumstances that our judgement deems the weather conditions too high of a risk to operate, we will cancel the program.

In the event that SDCS initiates a cancellation, we will provide the following options:

    - Reschedule to a later date at no extra charge (subject to SDCS availability).

    - Full Credit valid for two years from the scheduled date of the program.

    - Refund for the affected portion of the service if rescheduling or credit is not feasible.

SDCS is not responsible for any expenses incurred by participants in connection with their trip, including but not limited to airfare, car rental, lodging, or equipment purchases. We strongly recommend purchasing trip insurance to protect against unforeseen cancellations or changes.
